All polyurea is based on the same chemistry, namely the reaction product of an isocyanate and polyamine. Polyurethanes, on the other hand, are the reaction product of an isocyanate and a polyol. Therefore polyureas and polyurethanes are not only different chemically, but result in different products and physical properties.
